SUP-er Ag_g, a longevity media and experiences company, has officially launched the Super Age Games, a first-of-its-kind fitness competition designed to measure healthspan rather than traditional athletic performance.
Unlike conventional fitness events that prioritize speed, strength, or aesthetics, the Super Age Games evaluate participants on a broader set of indicators linked to long-term health and vitality. The competition is built around the question: How long can your body and mind sustain the life you want to live?
“The Games isn’t just about adding years to your life, it’s about adding life to your years: more time to travel, play with your kids, and do what you love,” said David Harry Stewart, founder of SUP-er Age. “That’s worth training for.”
The Super Age Games introduce a new competition model where strength and endurance remain important, but are assessed alongside other markers of longevity, including balance, cognitive performance, energy metabolism, recovery, and even relational capacity, the ability to connect, respond, and adapt effectively to others.
This holistic framework reflects a growing body of research showing that aging is not a single process, but a system-wide experience involving physical, cognitive, metabolic, and social dimensions.
Leading longevity experts support this shift. “Longevity science has identified the healthspan markers that matter most: VO2 max, grip strength, balance, working memory, and even relationships,” said Dr. Eric Verdin, CEO of The Buck Institute. “The Super Age Games bring all of these metrics together in one place, on one day, allowing people to see where they truly stand.”
Scientific indicators such as VO2 max, grip strength, and balance are increasingly recognized as strong predictors of long-term health outcomes, while cognitive and metabolic measures are becoming equally relevant in assessing the quality of aging. Until now, these insights have largely remained confined to health reports, apps, and isolated clinical assessments.
The Super Age Games transform these data points into an immersive, visible, and competitive experience.
The launch comes at a time when longevity is rapidly moving into the mainstream. The global longevity economy is already valued at more than $5 trillion, with projections estimating growth to $8 trillion as consumer demand rises for healthspan-focused products and services, including wearable technology, personalized nutrition, recovery tools, and biofeedback systems.
Positioned at the center of this movement, the Super Age Games combine science-backed health metrics with community and competition, making longevity both experiential and culturally relevant.
Designed as more than a one-day event, the Games include a multi-month training journey, content programming, immersive brand activations, and a live final competition taking place in New York City on November 7, 2026.
Rather than encouraging short-term peak performance or burnout-driven training cycles, the Super Age Games promote sustained readiness and lifestyle optimization in the months leading up to competition.
By redefining what it means to compete, the Super Age Games challenge participants to rethink success, not as outperforming others alone, but as identifying and improving the systems that support a longer, healthier, and more vibrant life.
